forget black and get white- you can upgrade the hd and still have to pay more for a black. If you want to stand out as a proud mac owner, go with white.

Yah...white is totally apple. I just bought a 2.16GHz MacBook with 2GB of RAM and a 160GB HDD.
how about the discolorations?? doesn't it bother you?
@renzel: The problem with the discolouration in the white macbooks was fixed ages ago, not long after it appeared. It was just a problem with the particular lacquer they were using.
Congrats for standing out and getting a true "mac". nothing beats a computer than a white macbook. its beautiful.... i envy you.

I dont know why you guys fuss over which colour is best, when they both are capable of doing the same thing.
